So now the Sale is over and the shop is closed so the next hurdle will be CHRISTMAS ! yes the C word.

I know lots of my friends have started shopping and planning for the great event that throws most of us into a panic or a frenzy. I have started thinking about my Christmas cards. Last year I got a lino cutting kit so I thought I'd make my own cards this year but after slipping and cutting off my penguins flipper I decided I needed help. So today I attended a lino cutting course near Warminster at the delightful studio of Olivia Clifton Bligh. A fabulous day, I learnt so much and came home with a fairly decent first print.

It was good to do something completly different and all absorbing and I might be able to use those skills to print on aluminium which could push my work in a new direction.  I recommend her course you can find out more at http://www.oliviacliftonbligh.com/workshops.html
