Food, Drink & Music, shops spreading out onto the pavement including Room 212 the Shop/Gallery selling some of my work. And don't forget May is all about the beginning of Summer so you'll see Jack in the Green with a procession of musicians and dancers.

Room 212 is a shop and gallery run by Sarah Thorpe, herself a practising mixed media artist which stocks work by local artists who help run the shop. Gloucester Road is a street of independent and original shops and part of a vibrant community with an artistic buzz. Why not get out of the centre and visit the area, lots of places for coffee and great food.

When I started this blog I never imagined I would be writing about a Ballet, but last night I saw an amazing Cinema screening of the Royal Ballet's performance of Jewels by George Balanchine. Broadcast live from Covent Gardens Royal Opera House it was a sparkling performance. I won't give you lots of details, words can hardly do it justice, follow this link to see details about Gearge Balanchine and videos on the performance, behind the scenes, costumes and rehearsals.

A fabulous spectacle if you are lucky enough you can still catch it until end of the month.
