So January has almost passed us by and I feel like I’ve spent most of it cleaning ! We had some building work done before Xmas and I have spent the the time since then decorating and having new carpets fitted.

So I’ve been looking at colour schemes and accidently came across this - Peach Fuzz is Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2024.

I was introduced to Pantone when I worked in a Technical Graphics Studio. We used Pantone to give details to the printer so the leaflets we had printed looked like the original artwork. Today it is used in every manufacturing process that needs to match colours to an original design. Fashion, graphic designers, artists and consumer goods manufacturers are examples of Pantone users. As a jeweller I often check out whats fashionable in the shops so I can plan what colours to dye the aluminium, but sometimes I just can’t get the dye or it doesn’t come out quite right, BUT the intention is there !
